About Us
My dad, Lorenzo Garcia, launched this company in 2008 with a single focus: lawn care done right. He wasn't chasing volume. He wanted to show up, listen to what clients actually needed, and deliver work that made people feel seen. Those early jobs were modest—weekly maintenance, seasonal cleanups—but he built each one like it mattered.
It didn't take long to realize clients wanted more than grass cutting. They'd mention a patio they'd always wanted, a retaining wall that was failing, pathways to their front doors that made no sense. Dad started learning hardscape. He brought in people who understood stone, concrete, grading. Within a few years, we weren't just maintaining landscapes—we were building them. That shift from lawn care to full-service landscape and hardscape construction felt natural because clients were asking for it, and we were willing to learn.
'The work teaches you what customers actually need, if you listen.'
— Lorenzo Garcia, Founder
Being family-owned means we stay on a project longer than hired hands would. We see the same clients in the neighborhood, at church, around town. That matters. It means we can't cut corners on a Tuesday and forget about it on Wednesday. A client isn't a line item. They're someone whose home we're shaping, and that home will still be standing when we run into them at the grocery store.
Evolution isn't abandonment. When we moved from lawn care into hardscape and construction, we didn't drop landscaping. We deepened it. Same with how we work—every landscape design now includes maintenance plans because we learned that beautiful work needs tending. We don't hand off a finished project and disappear. We build it, we maintain it, we're there when something needs attention.
Sixteen years of working with homeowners has taught us that people want honesty more than they want promises. They want someone to say 'this will take longer than you hope' or 'here's a more practical approach than what you saw on Instagram.' Family ownership gives us permission to be that voice, because we're building our own reputation with people we'll see again.
When you work with us, you're working with people who've been doing this for nearly two decades. That means no guessing. We show up, assess what you're working with, and talk through what makes sense—not what's most profitable for us. You'll notice we ask questions before we sketch. We listen to how you use your yard, what frustrates you, what you've imagined but thought impossible.
The work unfolds with real communication. You won't be left guessing what's next. From the first conversation through completion and beyond, we treat your landscape like it's ours. Because when you're family-owned and operated, your reputation isn't abstract. It's personal. If you'd like to talk about your yard, your vision, or what might be possible, reach out. We're here to help.
